Just checked my purse and only had £1.32 in change from NYE (managed to put it all in my pot as DD has gone for a sleepover at friends lol). NSD yesterday as sulked all day cos of boiler leaking in the middle of the night.
No smoking either:j :j Thought it would be hard when I went out drinking but NO, I didn't cave woo hoo!!!!
Well hears to a year of saving, no buying things I don't need and staying away from men who are no good for me lol!!

Thanks for my number Sue, it's now been added to my sig!
Well I have moved my lovely terramundi into my living room, he's sitting proudly on my cabinet (he actually looks beautiful, all cream and goes perfectly with the colour scheme of my room!). I've been feeling a bit queasy this morning so not really been moving about too much - but I have cleared out my handbag and put all the loose change from that into Terry (yes - I've named my terramundi, I probably shouldn't it might make smashing him difficult!). :rotfl: I also went through my purse, hoping to find an abundance of lose change... well I barely had anything in there, but the coppers and small silver went in too!
Have a good day everyone!! Paying off in 2009::beer:

1) Walk with your eyes scoping the pavement in a rader left to right sweeping motion.
2) Pay particular attention to bus stops. Teenages cant be bothered to pick up pennies.
3) Don't be too proud to make it obvious what you're doing.... lol
I've picked up loads over the last year (I work outdoors so its easy for me, particulary on football match days).
Sparky and I have hoovered the streets of Liverpool clean! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Hey stunty,
How eloquently described, I would have rambled on for a full page and got nowhere to describe road change hoovering, I found another 3p today, the kids by me must think I'm a stalker when they come out of shops and drop their change on the floor, lol. I'm afraid I've got no shame when it comes to picking up coins, because I know that come 1st of April it will be going towards paying something off my debt.
sue, can you believe how much this challenge has grown? Happy New Year everyone!
Winnings from playing cards and some silver from my family for letting the new year in went into my pot yesterday. I'm delighted to say that this pot is nearly full... and if I can fill one up every couple of months, I should end up with quite a bit come the end of the year.
I can't wait to see the totals because it looks like everyone is really getting into it0 -
Hello! I am going to the shops soon , even if i dont have change i will hunt for change to put in the pot today lol! My dad rolls his eyes when he sees me chucking coppers and 5s in one pot and 10s and up in the other he says
" I never thought i would see the day that you would put your cash in a tin and leave it alone" lol well he will be laughing the other side of his face when in december i have a nice sum of money lol!
I too will be hunting around for roadkill!
