Thanks for suggestions! So before I uninstall McAfee - will Avira AntiVir and Comodo Firewall suffice? Or do I need anything else too. He's on dial up and is only an occasional web user / emailer.0

Have used comodo now for a few years from early conception really.It does what it says on the tin but like all antivirus it not 100% and you need to be aware of this.I would also use spybot to suppliment the antivirus this is also free.Microsoft offer MS Defender as their anti malware which is ok ish0
