Skint - no, they don't get paid. They only get their expenses paid. Their idea of 15 mimutes of fame I guess!

Remember though skint - the score doesn't mean anything much - it isn't used in any kind of scoring or decision by a lender, it's just a generalisation.

Do they not realise they are humiliating themselves? weird!

I don't think I'll bother paying up then! I have one late payment from July 2005 but otherwise all green.

    Morning, crappy start so far.
Went out to scrape ice off my car with a defunct WHS card and realised I had a sad looking tyre. I contemplated driving slowly to the garage to put some air in and then I noticed the large screw in it
So, had to give Miss Twit taxi money for school £15 bet I don't get any change and then I walked to work.

I phoned this mobile tyre person and nipped out of work to meet him. Repaired my tyre and it was only £10 :j

Thought I'd catch up on here before going back to work.

I'm sure it's all the doom and gloom on the news that's making these men grumpy.
Bunny you do sound better today, take care of the muscles though.

    Hugs to all :grouphug:

Oh Buffy back pain is horrible and debilitating sometimes, sitting is the worst thing for a bad back. Try to keep active if you can. Hope the pain wears off soon xxx

  • buffy - I sympathise having had a back injury for years. If the pain is on the disc, use a cold compress such as an ice pack wrapped in a tea towel for 20 minutes, 3 times a day. If it is to the side of the spine, use heat treatments. You may find laying on your side with a ipllow between your knees helps as this keeps everything in alignment or if you lay on your stomach, put the pillow under you at around hip level.

If it is like a shock down the leg, it is probably the sciatic nerve jarring because of it being next to an inflamed disc.

Take paracetamol for the pain and ibuprofen to take down the inflammation. If it gets worse, see your GP to up the pain/anti inflammatory stakes. He can also give you a weak diazepam to stop the muscle spams.
