they would have already charged you the amount if full - its standard practice to do this and then refund the £50 back onto your card 3 - 5 working days later. x

this was posted earlier today. so we will see if they refund the difference.
  • I Know that is common practice to take full amount and then refund, but where as usually you can see the refund showing on transaction history this time it isn't... and i've used many codes. It is however showing on my email.... i'm not holding out much hope for this one
  • i1m not holding out much hope to have the refund, you can but try.
It would have been better to cancel all orders not accept them. As i said earlier my friends order was cancelled within the hour.

If i dont get discount i,ll just return the whole order. So heres hoping
  • Wow, I just got an £80 coat for £30 - thank you! :D

I can't see how they can take more than the amount showing on the invoice without your permission.

By ticking the 'agree to T&C's' box you are giving them permission to take the extra money as it says that if you aren't the person the code was meant for they will take the extra money.

Sorry but think they will get you either way - you never beat the establishment!!

Spoken to credit card they can do this as you have given them your details. You have to deal with littlewoods and try to resolve the matter with them you can then start a dispute if you don't sort it is what my credit card company said. They said to note and keep a copy of emails and phone calls and take names.

Just read another littlewood thread and now doubt I will be refunded.
