You can argue the toss as much as you like, if and when they claim the money back, but ultimately you have to accept that you are in the wrong using this code. But hey, you might get away with it.
I do understand this could be a problem, but lots of people get emails offering codes, so how could they argue that we should not be able to use a code??
Not wanting to argue, but to cover any angles, but surely they would be acting irresponsibly also by allowing the codes to be used - they should have a system in place to prevent this. In effect, they could use this to abuse the system also.
 Interesting.

everyone seems to be in a kerfuffle here so let me point a few helpful things out
 1. They ALWAYS take the full amount from your card then, as I said before, they will refund it to you 3-5 days later
 2. If they do not honour the code you are well within your rights to return your items which littlewoods pick up for free (you can find details here) You will receive your refund up to 14 days after the item is received by LW
 3. Your email should show your balance less the £50
 Hope this is helpful!0

The problems could arise from what was mentioned above;I just want to repeat the warnings given by others in this thread. If you are going to go ahead and use this code please be prepared for the voucher to be cancelled MONTHS down the line.

Indeed, which was why earlier in this thread I pleaded for people to not use it unless they could afford it.0

How many people actually have this on their transaction history. Mine does not show anything just the full payment. The email does show the -£50 though.
My tracking order shows the items at full price but my account balance is with the discount applied.
Most of the emails sent after order are automatic, and do stipulate it's subject to T&C's to cover them anyway.0
