  • Usually it does show the refund amount on your transaction history straight away, just this time it isn't.... I wouldn't hold out much hope for this one..
I did have a go just like everyone else but really do you think littlewoods etc are just going to give £50 worth of items to god knows how many people..... I really can't see it happening

    I've been Money Tipped!

Just read another littlewood thread and now doubt I will be refunded.

    Why????
Just send the item/s back as they weren't suitable.

  • Spoken to credit card they can do this as you have given them your details. You have to deal with littlewoods and try to resolve the matter with them you can then start a dispute if you don't sort it is what my credit card company said. They said to note and keep a copy of emails and phone calls and take names.

Just read another littlewood thread and now doubt I will be refunded.

sorry for hijacking but this has made me sign up here just so i can reply.

You CAN return items for a refund as long as they are not opened or used within 7 or 14 days depending on the item. As well as that there is the distance selling regulations which also cover you so you can quote this at them if they give you any grief.

Even if they say you can't....you can! under the distance selling regulations which gives you a "cooling off period". Don't let then bully you into keeping things you don't want

I just want to repeat the warnings given by others in this thread. If you are going to go ahead and use this code please be prepared for the voucher to be cancelled MONTHS down the line.

I used a voucher code from Littlewoods last year like many who use this forum and it was a good few months before they demanded the amount back.

Are you really going to sit on the item you have purchased for at least six months? Not use, unwrap it or anything? If yes, fine go ahead take a chance.

Are you happy to keep the used item and pay the £50 difference, then yet again, take a punt and good luck.

If you are not happy to pay the difference or sit on the goods or would even get into financial difficulty if the difference was demanded in say three months time then stay well clear.

You can argue the toss as much as you like, if and when they claim the money back, but ultimately you have to accept that you are in the wrong using this code. But hey, you might get away with it.

Good luck. I'm staying well clear, once burnt twice shy.

Well in my case, It was something I was going to be buying anyway, so either way it's no biggie, and if it's months down the line...does that mean it's buy now pay later? :rotfl:

maybe they will be so busy sorting this mess out they will let the other code that has been abused (£30 off £60 spend) go! I did that one and got cold feet so cancelled the order -the £30 credit remained on the account though so have used the credit up with things I wanted and don't mind paying for further down the line if need to.

I did post a question about these 'codes' on here yesterday evening and was pointed to the martin thread but I'm not too concerned tbh.

In this day and age, I think people should only ever use such carrots IF they are prepared to pay the full amount if need be. Best way to look at these specials is as a bonus to your order costs if they work and certainly not essential to your budget.

I was fully prepared to pay the full amount and didn't even realise the code was for so much anyway.. thought it was 10% off or something!

I've checked on line and my account is showing the items at full cost, but my balance includes the code discount lol.
