I am in two minds whether to cancel my order. Has anyone else managed to? There is a click on the confirmation email where you can cancel your order but Littlewoods site is down. Will they automatically cancel our orders if we are not allowed the code or just charge us full amount?

I tried to cancel over the phone & the CS girl said that the system wouldn't let her & it was being delivered on the 3rd so it was probably too late! She seemed to think that I would be charged the full amount even though the email confirmation stated the £50 discount code was excepted

i too have an email stating how much i was going to be charged.

My only concern is that having the option to cancel if i'm not eligable for the code?

Surely Littlewoods should have stated at the time? As far as i'm aware i'm legible for the code as its been accepted.

they would have already charged you the amount if full - its standard practice to do this and then refund the £50 back onto your card 3 - 5 working days later. x
  • This is common with Littlewoods group, if you paid by cc expect to be fully charged if you have a credit account you will pay full amount also. Just waiting on the watchdog trading standards threads to start

Try ringing CS (0844 8228000), see what they say! It might put your mind at rest!

it would seem from where im standing that you will get your goods then have code rejected then charged the full price as you havent meet terms not unless you can prove the person you got the code from.
Then you options are keeps goods pay full whack or return them which i would presume would be at your own cost, there again you might be lucky if not picked up on but bearing in mind couple peeps have phoned up think they will be checking all orders with that code if i was them as could be making a whole pile of money as terms are laid out.
Imo no such thing as a completely free lunch not to lots of people maybe a few but not to lots.

best bet is people to check there online banking see how much money has come out!
    best of luck

Refuse the order when it arrives. Even if you lose the p&p costs, it would be worth it!
