Aww chin up Summermoon. We're in the same boat at the moment. It's a nightmare job hunting at the moment. They are very few and far between. DH has been looking for 8/9 weeks now. When a job does come up blink and you miss it.
So your not alone. But it, it won't be like this forever and things can only get better. Thinking that way is the only thing that's keeping us going at the moment.
Hugs:grouphug:
Thanx for that hunni, feel a bit better now...... think we are just going to focus on christmas for the kids and then deal with all the carp afterwards. Hopefully one or both of us will have a job by then.
Need to go get ready for maths now..... where did I put that bloody file.
Happy flying. An' It Harm None, Do As Thou Will

Hi all. Thanks for the hugs :A Really need one. The last real hug I had (except the ones I get from DS :happyhear ) was from my midwife after she took my c-sect stitch out, over 2 yrs ago.
Toots Its not just my agoraphobia stopping me leaving - it's the combination of having a 2yr old, ME, agoraphobia, and absolutely no one for help or support. It wouldnt be the easiest thing to do. I really need to leave for my sanity, but physically and mentally I just wouldnt be able to without a lot of help. I do way too much as it is, the extra work involved in living alone would be too much for my body and brain to cope with and I'd probably end up bedridden.
I am practically mute in real life (except around DS) I just dont have the energy to find words to put sentences together; so it really gets to me when, like last night, I do actually go to the effort to talk and it ends up with X wanting to start a big arguement with me. I cant even walk away from him cos when I try to he follows me around the house to continue the row. He just does my head in!
Anyway  woke up at 11 today. So far I've folded the clean washing, put the next load in the WM, S&S the kitchen, and now I'm sitting having my breakfast.

I managed to convince hubby last night that we needed to replace our horrible crappy hotpoint washer dryer with a MIELE!!!! Will wait til after xmas, hope our hotpoint can limp along that far...
Miele dishwashers are great - really quiet, wash well and the cutlery tray instead of a basket works very nicely.0 -
angelnikki hugs honey - you have a bad situation there but you need to start to deal with it to give you and DS a nice future - sorry didnt mean that to sound harsh - what i was thinking was could you take each problem separately and try for improvement.
for example - when Ds is ready to go to school (3 years approx) I am sure you would love to be able to take him so use that as a goal and between now and then contact agraphobia help groups/GP/hypnosis or whatever ot takes and work on it - even if it is tiny baby steps towards that exciting day it would be a focus for you.
the same for your ME- there will be help groups - and loads of other people in the same position - even if you could make contact with someone else locally they would perhaps come and visit you and then it would be someone to venture outside with - even if its just in the garden - or maybe there's a group that you could get a lift to or a taxi? push for help.
If you really want to leave him then you CAN make it happen and you would cope - DS would be at school and you would have all day to do anything that was needed with no pressure. Life would be a lot easier for you I think on your own if you start building contacts/friends/support now. You would be so much happier without the agro that you and DS would be fine in my opinion. Why not make 2011 your year - the year that your life begins again.
sorry for the lecture - it just hurts me to see you struggling in such a horrible atmosphere and not being able to help you.
huge hugs
