Oooh, Soappie Hope it goes OK and works the way you want it to... take care hun, you are obviously very popular :A

I wouldn't say I'm popular (I'm renowned for calling a spade an effing shovel! And stuff like "what do you mean? Warm and fluffy? I don't DO fluffy - grow up!"! "You know I'm always right!" ) - it's more like I'm too damned good at what I do!

I really don't want to do the split site working... but I suspect I'll have to...

Big giant fluffy hug for Rach, honey, I am sure you're looking, but you deserve to be in a job where you are happy! Big A** for the lovely DP for being a super star this evening too. :) if you ever want to swap :rotfl:

CS that sounds like a rather good plan

Zoey well done! See when you get up and crack on with things it makes you feel better. All spangly ready for Wednesday.

Oh speaking of this speaking your mind lark (thanks for the reminder soappie :rotfl: I like your style!) I got an email back from the heads of service I kicked a stink up with, lovely ones actually, we'll be discussing at next meeting thoroughly and a report is being put together for it, which is what I asked for, I just replied with 'looking forward to it' :D

Going to see if I can sort any more present ideas, it's the oldies I struggle for at the mo, no idea what to get some of them. Might ring Mam and see what she's planning to get Nana, might be something bigger she needs we can share the cost of.

Ooooo I didn't realise Martin was on this programme :D (yes I am watching too Dusty) eeeeek that reminds me I need to switch asap!
One day I might be more organised...........

  • lil-me yes i did catch watchdog. We did get all of our stuff delivered, but it was fit together rubbish - they left an inch gap at the top of the fitted wardrobes and when i pointed out dust would get in, i was told i was being silly, it wouldn't. Then it took 3 deliveries for a 3m chest-top to be delivered in good condition, as they kept sending it in a stupid box with one delivery driver, and as they dragged it along the van it trashed the edge of it. Good job DH is handy, as he fixed the bodges and we ended up sorted but i thought i would never use them again. And i agree, the DWP was disgusting.

emily sounds like things are going better for you.

downloading from youtube is that not against copyright? I would hate to think anyone did it then got a big bill or fine sometime in the future. I think i will try downloading some podcasts for my MP3 player though, as i know that valli is now the expert to ask if i need help. ;)

I am another one who is really grateful it is bedtime for the kiddlies. DS1 jumped on my knee and hurt my knee, and then DS2 bit my cheek, so i am glad of a bit of peace. They also had every toy out in the living room and it took ages.

DH is late home  so i am cooking dinner and when it is ready i am eating and he can eat on his own later. Speaking of which, best check the spuds - didn't make toad in the hole in the end as the boys were being hard work and i didn't have time to make the batter, and decided it was cheaper to cook them on the grill.

  • Hi.

Had a busy day today playing with DS :j , will do more flying tomorrow. I want to go to the docs tomorrow [strike]and hopefully if I get up on time go to DS's nursery's xmas fair.[/strike]

[moan] Just asked X if he could come and get me to go to the xmas fair with him and he jumped down my throat saying that I was going to have a go at him. So I won't be going now. I'm getting so annoyed with him; he keeps being nasty to me and then blaming me, saying it's because I'm going to be nasty to him. He keeps implying that I've got some sort of personality disorder and that I've completely flipped since I've had M.E. But my M.E. is totally seperate to how I am around him. He was a complete ignorant selfish insensitive pr!ck throughout my pregnancy and just after DS was born (and has continued to be so ever since) which is why I no longer want to be with him. My ME didnt start til DS was 9months old. But he has convinced himself that its my M.E. that's sent me insane which has split us up. He keeps saying he's had to put up with so much from me being nuts. GRRR @ X  I so wish I could move out :(:o[/moan]

Well, finishing my day here by making curtains!

The WM and DW are on (cheap rate electricity after 9.00)

    From my list I have..

    Monday - children/spare room
    Level one
    [STRIKE]Floor clearance[/STRIKE]!
[STRIKE]Strip beds and put on clean bedding.. if you just did them do the duvet & curtains![/STRIKE]
    Vacuum and turn mattress
    Level Two
Sort through the toys.. get rid of the broken and outgrown ones
Sort through a chest of drawers/wardrobe and fling anything that no longer fits/past wearing
    [STRIKE]Binbag dance[/STRIKE]

    Others:
    Clean en suite shower room.
Quick whip round dusting and hoovering downstairs.
E[STRIKE]mpty waste paper bins and corral rubbish for bin day tomorrow.[/STRIKE]
    f[STRIKE]inish advent calenda[/STRIKE]r (sewing).
Book restaurant for class lunch Thursday.
    [STRIKE]HHI.[/STRIKE]

So not too bad on the whole as I have made a pair of curtains as well and completely cleaned the kitchen (which was squalid quite frankly)

    See you all tomorrow.
