Not really done much in the way of flying today:o Me and LO spent most of the day lying on the couch.
Need to think about dinner, have some M&S beef wellingtons in the fridge so need to see how long they take to cook. Will probably have them with mash, nomnomnom.

kazw that was all year this time, I usually save twice a year once for hols and once for Christmas but this time it took a year to fill as was just £2 coins. Used it for DPs car tax, then the rest is towards Christmas (some which I'd spent already on the CC and will come off this month :o )

Oh joys DS2s not feeling well, he had the tummy bug 2 weeks ago, wondering if it was a different one I had. Now wondering if I should do that armour or not, if he's going to be off school no point...
One day I might be more organised...........

I have decided that as I didn't have a spare room that needed clearing - the second bedroom is DH's room and he won't let me clear/tidy that, and the box room is where all the stuff that doesn't fit anywhere goes and that is all cleared out and tidy (well as tidy as it can be with so much stuff in), I was going to do absolutely nothing today. Oooh has it been nice to just mung about not worrying about anything or anyone, also I have my house back to myself after a fortnight of upheavals. Even the dogs are happier as their routines are back to normal.

During my HHC I did the following:
    • Changed the towels blocking the hole in the main waste pipe, behind the washing machine.
    • Put a pink was in the machine
    • Sorted out the jeans wash, towels wash and whites wash ready to be done during the evening.
    • Washed up and thrown the water out in the garden.
    • Cleaned the cat tray, much to the annoyance of the boy cat for some reason.
    • Brushed the kitchen floor - more debris from gods knows where.
    • Read and replied to necessary emails
Now I am going to have a cup of tea and wait for DH to come home from work, and read the board.

Meant to say earlier very envious of the Storm Flower. Am I right in thinking it is only available on Vodafone?

Yea, apparently it is only Vodafone - must admit, now I have it working properly (DVD drive not working on computer so had to download software - not an easy option!) I love it - not that I've seen it much...

DS found out that it is free Internet so is on MSN as we speak (after he worked out how to do everything else in about 2 minutes) It is good though, I read a few updates and the techie people put a few things down on it and said it's not as good as the IPhone, so I was wondering if I had done the right thing, but I find it easy to use the keyboards, it's just finding out where everything is that's been the biggest problem, and I've still not sorted the GPS out, but I've been used to a Nokia for so long (how simple are they!) it's going to take me a while I think, but am glad I've got it though...:D

ABSOLUTLY NO FLYING SINCE IT ARRIVED... (did try, but it called out to me?)... Just watching H&A on fiver then dinner then we are going to hit the bedroom (hopefully) I really want to get it done and get the new bedding on tonight.

Just to two of us, so it's nice, no shouting, quite relaxed - makes a big change - long may it continue...:T :D

  • Hi

Hope everyone is well and welcome newbies/returners. DH and I have had 2 pieces of good news today. Firstly he's now going to have dialysis at the local hospital instead of the one that's 30 mins drive away :j , and it will be in the afternoon not the evening (he's currently returning home at 12am  ). Secondly we're going to view our bungalow on Wednesday :j

So far today I've done errands, laundry and shopping. My aims for the rest of the evening are to do some more packing

I'm absolutely shattered but I have finished my list. I've also put all the Xmas decorations up(DH can do the outdoor ones). Just got to do a menu plan and then do a shopping list. Then I'm having an early night.
Hugs to all the poorlies and hi to the newbies.
    See you all tomorrow
