Afternoon all and hugs all round as required.

All dailies done-ish, and had a trip to Abergavenny (-2 ) to collect some holly plants from Freecycle so I'll eventually have a nice hedge along my front fence.

DH has just gone for more sealant from B & Q. He's trashed the bathroom stripping the wallpaper, and found HUGE gaps around the windows behind the trim, so removed all that, filling the gaps and replacing the sealant. Should make the bathroom warmer. DS is going to bath the big dogs after lunch, which he has just made me.

I've just caught up on the thread, then I'm having lunch, before I put a base coat on on wall in the lounge. I can finish my Christmas cards while it's drying.

Back to work tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it!

Zoey - don't you dare go out. As others have said, listen to your body. The more you rest, the quicker it will heal, and that was a good idea of your Dad's with the stool so you don't bend. Be careful not to overfill your kettle etc as well. And tell your Mother if she wants you to have some fresh air, she can open a window for you for 5 minutes! :rotfl:

And - should I be worried about the Richmond Sausages I have in my freezer, or even worse, the ones we've already eaten! I haven't seen anything in the news.

I only heard it on the radio news this morning.

The ceiling and two walls of the bathroom have been severly deep cleaned. Just having a breather before I do the next two. I'm using Dettol's mould and mildew cleaner and it stinks!

I might need taping down later as I have itchy feet but enjoying being lazy. Am I meant to feel this guilty though?

My DD is suffering as I can not lift her and cnt cuddle her properly, earlier she threatened to punch me in my tummy. I am not sure what to do with her and think telling her off is against the point.

Any one got any ideas on how to comfort her and reassure her.

craftyscholar - sorry about your cc. Hope it gets sorted soon. I meant to put earlier that I had to use my bank card reader for the first time a week or two ago. I had been putting if off (hate new technology) but it was really easy.

    Take care Zoey

Roast dinner cooked, eaten, washed up and put away. I've put a couple more bits of the washing out on the line. I doubt if it will dry but it will freshen it up.

    Remade DD2's bed.

Feel a bit sleepy now, cat had me up at 6.10 again after a night of tiring dreams ( trying to find people, walking about in new places).
  • zoey what about giving her an IOU for a cuddle when you are better if she is good?
