I have decided to take the advice I keep giving newbies - to not try and do it all at once!!! My list is soooo long I am just going to do assorted jobs today and that will help when the rooms come round this week - I have ECDL this week and out on wednesday so should manage to do a good bit of flying with your help!!!! keep me at it please I really do want to relax and enjoy Christmas week.

right I am off to hang out washing no2 and get the decors out of the shed so that I can then get rid of some of the boxes that are in the house.

HHC 11.30 -1200 for me - anyone want to join me???

Vague peace here now, DS is reading out the Christmas pudding ingredients and DD1 is collecting them. Trouble is once they're together they yell at each other! Grrrr.

AHHHHHHH peace and quiet!!! The boys have decided to sit together, quietly, and watch nick jnr. Wonder how long that will last lol.
Still got a few jobs to do but the place is starting to look fairly decent. I'm just going to pace myself today, and make DP help with the housework hehe.

    Morning all

Lovely and bright here but very cold. I've done two loads of washing, hung the first one up indoors and I've put DD2's bedding out on the line.

I've made a sponge even though I only had two eggs. I wasn't expecting it to be very big but it's looks a bit biscuity. Ah well, I expect it will taste OK. I also made a rhubarb crumble.

    Roast is roasting.

Generally tidied round etc. Not much else to say. Off to read the posts.

I didn't do too bad in that half hour - this is what I did (doesn't seem much, but the windows took some time):
    • Put one load of washing on the line to dry and another in the machine
    • Cleaned the outside of the three kitchen windows and the new patio doors (we had some mucky rain this week!)
    • Emptied dishwasher and started refilling it again
    • Cleared everything out of the bathroom that's washable (shower curtain, towels, mats etc)
    • Threw away the empty bottles of lotions and potions that have been mysteriously multiplying in the bathroom
    • Emptied the bathroom bin
I've decided to concentrate on the bathroom now - the mildew is coming back now it's winter and the window's not open so much so I need to get on top of that before it gets out of hand. Hot water and bleach here I come!
