I apologise in advance for this, but my son loves this (well he would - he's 9!), so if anyone else has sons who love gross things they should try this http://www.eyegas.com/sproutifarts/

Love this, just had a go, for research purposes of course, will show DD's later.:D

Decided to do kids bedroms today and popped on thread to see where todays room was and it is the bedrooms, so I have that extra motivation I need. Pigpen :A .

And I've had to turn the heating up to 45! Not sure what that makes the house temperature, but usually it hovers between 30 and 35 just to keep the chill off, but a couple of days ago I turned it to 40 and now it's on 45. DD2 has a cold though so I'm thinking I should keep her warm! Debating whether to light a fire instead and turn the heating back down again.

Are we talking Fahrenheit or Celsius?

Justamum...I've done quilting once before which was good fun. I think my cushion cover looks very good as well! Would love to go on an embroidery course, I don't think I'm too bad for someone learning out of books but would be nice to do something away from the children!

The Embroiderers' Guild does all sorts of workshops - I've done felt making, batik, stumpwork embroidery, box making, and the latest one was canvaswork. There is probably a branch in Guernsey (HQ is at Hampton Court Palace) and membership is £31 a year. Workshops are individually priced (ours are usually £18.50 each, but we often have to get people from the UK to teach them). I'm doing a "princess lace" one in a couple of months (it's needle lace apparently).

I must admit it's nice to be able to get away from the family for a few hours once in a while and just do something for ME! :rotfl::rotfl:
