I need a new food processor. I don't use mine for years, then decide to use it and remember how useful it is...and then the safety catch bit snaps off as the lid fell on the floor :( I did try and fix it but it snapped off again.

Fed up of this morning already...spent another hour doing nothing...argh!

    Morning lovelies!

Michelle that's really sad news, huge hugs to you x
Gryfon between 7.30 and 9am is when I get most done, I'm a morning person and always wake up eager to get on with things

I shouldn't be here. Went to my first job this morning and he's full of cold so gave me the money anyway (he was quite insistant) and said just to leave it, call it a xmas box, he said, Bless him. SO I've got till 11.10 before I have to go out again for my next job but don't quite know what to do, don't want to tire myself out cause the next job is a biggie but want to use my time wisely

One good thing, that dreadful snow has almost gone :j Been to Asda for a couple of bits (bread, spuds, sarnie for work - usually make my own but had nowt in and thought I would be out till 2.30) and it was heaving....and they hadn't salted the car park  my new black suede ugg boot type things (from New Look where DD1 works so got them for £7) have got white, I take it, snow marks on them  boo hoo!

Will decide what I'm gonna do whilst I make some toast - I'm a starvin' marvin'.

On the doctors topic i work in a pharmacy and talk to lots of patients who tell me about their doctors, some are really happy with them, others really aren't, i think, on average, doctoring is like most professions where you have the good, the bad and the average....but in this line of work, when you're bad, you're really bad, and i've heard some real horror stories (safe to say there are a few doctors in my area I wouldn't go anywhere near).
Yeah we know! Pigpen comes in your shop then!
Now I LOVE tea, but only have one pot...? how many addictions do you have?
If you remember I am from ooop north so tea is a meal eaten late afternoon/early evening and requires plates pots & pans etc...;)

I am sure someone told us about a place you can order spares for things like this in the summer...was it Sexymouse? If she pops on I'll ask her. Or you could google it. It might be this one.

Ooh DD wants some uggs - I am trying to persuade her to have similar but not yer actual Uggs.. I'll have a look...
BTW It'll be salt...as boots get wet they draw up the salted water, the water evaporates and you get a salt residue on your footwear. Try a damp cloth or steaming...

Not gone to France - OH ill. I'm so not a happy bunny.

I'm taking the teens to Bluewater instead. Not quite the same, but I'll have another look at the curtain material, and maybe get a few more Christmas bits. I've also found a ferry crossing for next Saturday, so maybe we can go then. Can't get as much time there and do so much - but can still do shopping and have a nice lunch out!

Stuck in today waiting for some deliveries, including my lovely white bath for the en suite :j . All of £67.50 delivered from homebase which is my kind of shopping! I really must get on with some work work, plus the house is a tip.

    HHC 10.30-11 anyone?

Serena hugs for you, what a shame. Some nice fabric on here and they post you good sized samples (3" square) for free http://www.terrysfabrics.co.uk/

K, just paid my council tax which I've been doing all week, so that's one less thing on my mind, folded one load of clean washing up just waiting for the TD to finish then I'll fold that lot, I'm gonna put the TD back into the porch and make myself look for the extension lead cause quite frankly it's doing my head in in here, it's in the way of everything, inc. the back door....so that's another job......gonna get Henry out and hoover through downstairs....then I'll see what time I've got left to fit something else in.

I'll also put the bags of rubbish that are in the porch into the outside bin seeing as it's not slippy anymore, and maybe fill in littleys contact details form ready for Monday. There. That should fill my 40 remaining minutes :D
