Nice thread, very interesting.
I work as a security risk analyst for a company near Southampton that protects people who are travelling abroad. To be honest the money is shocking £15,000 to £17,000 a year, but the job itself is interesting as I scour the news all day to find what news is going on in several countries (i.e Bomb has gone off in Kathmandu, Nepal). I think a pay rise could be on the cards eventually as I work my backside off but I don't want to rock the applecart too much as there is a recession going on!
In the past I have worked in a Chinese Takeaway (Ni hao!) and for a well known supermarket.
Also I enter many online competitions and sometimes sell them on on eBay.
Really must get my backside into gear eventually! Great threadCompetion Wins 2008 - £1700 - 2009 £5300
2010- £6800 -
Im mystery shopper and I am earning around £10 per hour... perfect job!

I used to be a manager in a central London theatre - loved it at first, saw lots of shows for free and met lots of famous people and royalty, but after 9 years got tired of working evenings and weekends, and dealing with rude patrons, so quit just before christmas - probably not the best time to quit but no regrets at all!
Rented out my flat, left London, and living with a friend on the south coast. Just got a part time job with English Heritage, working at one of their sites over the summer, no idea what I will do in the autumn...
Just started doing pigsback, one poll and looking into loads of other things mentioned on this site.0
