If you fancy a change a flavour, try peeling and grating some apple into the pancake mix before cooking. They are sooooo delicious. I do use butter to cook them though as I prefer the taste but you have to wipe the pan out and use a fresh bit of butter with each pancake as it does burn.
    Yummy!

I've made pancakes again but have some batter left over. Is it ok to put this batter in the fridge till tomorrow?
I love pancakes, I will be making them all the time now! :)

Yes sure, it'll be fine. You could also just make all the pancakes in one go and keep them in the fridge for the next day and, if need be, they freeze well too.

    HTH :)

I used the leftover batter to make more pancakes, but they looked so good I wolfed the lot down! Next time I will not make so much batter as I just can't resist them. Yum yum.

I made a big mistake a while back. Made some pancakes and then used a tin of black cherry pie filling as the stuffing (just like the ones little chef used to do) and they were abso-blumming-lutely fabulous!

I've got SEVERAL tins on my shopping list now. :)

    Hi Sarahsaver
When you say cup, is that the proper cup measurement or just a cup & saucer cup please.
(Just off to make up some batter for breakfast tomorrow, my daughter loves them so it will be a nice surprise for her).

    Thanks
    Julie
