Is there a quick and easy method to make pancakes?
I always use olive oil and for ages my 1st pancake always stuck and i'd end up throwing it away but the rest were always ok...until one day i twigged that the first pancake never worked because i never had my pan hot enough.
My pancakes are always great now. I don't leave the batter, i just make it and use it (i also make quite big pancakes as well).
Oh yes, I forgot to mention to let it stand. I don't know for definite if it makes any difference but my mum once told me to leave batter to stand for several hours before using - it's supposed to be good for yorkshire puds too.
