Morning, I'm freezing, there's a huge draught in this kitchen. Probably got something to do with the fact that there's no insulation in the roof and the windows in the roof are perspexy/plastic things
I need to do my washing at some stage today, didn't take it to work last night and I want to call at Argos and get a dress rail thing.
Big hugs for those still feeling grotty or crunchyand even bigger one for those who have to go out shopping today Bah Humbug!
BB, I saw yesterday that you had done the online FSH course, I have been looking at these and wondered if they were acceptable by my local Env Health, obviously they are.....which one did you do?

whatawit, I did this course for the intermediate qual yesterday
http://www.hygienetraining.co.uk/
It's based around an 89 slide powerpoint and then an online exam.
there are lots of online providers for the foundation qual, I did this one

This is a good one as it is visual and interactive.
They are acceptable yes, as they are accredited by either CIEH or to a structure recognised by CIEH."Stay Wonky":D

good grief. I've just had an email from Ocado- literally just now, saying Christmas delivery is available. Out of interest (I wouldn't use them as they are soooo dear) I looked - and already, all that is left for me is 8.30pm or 9.30pm on the 20th December! All day, every day in Christmas week has already gone!
On top of that, if you want a christmas week delivery - the minimum spend is £90 - and - some of the delivery slots are £9.99!!!!"Stay Wonky":D

Pepe,
Back up...did you say your DD has a Tattoo studio?? Does she have a website? (or, in my deliurim of lempsips/ibuprofen/cough nurse did I dream that?) I am looking at having another Tattoo and want to find a good artist.
Is the black plague still around? Cause I think I got it...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Cheers BB
Having seen what my local college/training providers want to charge and the timescale involved, I did wonder if the online ones were any good.
I think this could be a task for this evening. :AOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
I emailed the guy running the intermediate qual to check and he said that he had lots of local authorities using him. There is an advanced qual. available online but that's £350 so I won't be doing that one!
