Just had a look on the JobCentre site here and it looks like you're on the "Assessment Rate" that's paid for the first 13 weeks
ooo thats what it is then! so once i pass the medicle after 13 weeks i will get the full amout, will i still need to provice sick notes after esa send me for a medicle?0 -
I would have thought so, as I had to continue to produce for IB - even as I moved up to a higher rate. My DH didn't have to, but he was on the "long term" rate with terminal cancer.Cheryl0

I don't want to be negative, but I would be aware that passing the medical is by no means a given, so you may not get the full amount. The link given by cw18 provides more information.Gone ... or have I?0 -

It depends if they put you in the support group or the employment group whether you get the highest level of benefit. If you pass the ESA you will not have to send in sick notes.0 -
o yeah i know that but im confident i will pass.
I'm on long term IB, and indefinite DLA HRC & HRM, but I am not confident that I'd pass the new stricter tests (hopeful, but no way would I take it for granted)I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
