Think I might agree, Adey, about the business opportunity....
Got to go now.
Drinks at 8.00? At Sue's??

Other things to say
1. There were quite a few deliberate mis-spellings, I think someone mentioned something like "yours" which made me laugh as it was a deliberate mistake I had remembered making.
2. Hadn't really intended to implicate Implicate, although I half realised that might happen, but there were a few scary posts going on so was just trying to change the subject really and that was the main motive. When I realised that it was mis-leading I posted to say I didn't mean to implicate Implicate and that the mystery was not solved to clear things up.
3. The altocumulus red herring was deliberate. Nobody else was going to notice it so I pointed it out myself as Tibbledom. I had remembered adey mention altocumulus earlier
4. The golfing clue (8= snowman in golf) was a red herring found through a google search for snowman. Initially it was to make you think it was suesie. Someone suddenly posting this at same time as suesie. Suspicious.
5. I thought sloughflint was fair game when doing the Tibbledom denials as he had accused me (albeit correctly) and didn't think he would take offense but didn't want to suggest anyone else although I did in the later stages mention altocumulus.MSE. Abandon hope all ye who enter here0 -
Although mel was struggling with the code she knew that the carrot word was a code that needed solving and that was the difficult bit getting to that stage.
I have to confess I was fixated by the QWERTY keyboard and wasted time trying to break the code using patterns on the keyboard (after I'd realised it wasn't going to be an anagram!)
Never did like to make life easy.
I had the most fun I've had in ages too.
Well done again.:T :TI just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.0 -
One thing to say is that I would not recommend setting up an alias.
It makes you feel a bit seedy and underhand, and that is not a nice feeling at all, so if you are going to do it just be aware of that.MSE. Abandon hope all ye who enter here0 -
PS I'm sorry if I got Snowman's sex wrong, if not a lady, a proper a gentle man. Obviously no clarification is expected.
That was funny. A male poster wouldn't think of the affects that mis-guessing might have would they :rotfl:
That was one of the reasons for being ultra-polite not to cause offence.
And yes putting the xxx's after Snowman did misleadMSE. Abandon hope all ye who enter here0 -
I think an appropriate prize for Mel would be for her to spell her full name Melissa one letter per post and everyone to thank each post? Could yield 30-40 thanks?
Oh................no bag of gold then? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.0
