You're icy cool and clever,
offered us a clue.
Unravelled now the mystery,
revealing that it's you.
Expressions rarely alter
SnowMan's just the same.
Little hints he's given,
of course I know your name.
Uncovered your persona,
guilty one I've picked.
Handcuffs at the ready,
frosty friend you're nicked.
Loved the way you played it,
investigation fun.
Now the game is over,
tell me you're the one?

Was Mel first to the post?
Absolutely. Nobody else had picked up the significance of the carrot code. :T
Although mel was struggling with the code she knew that the carrot word was a code that needed solving and that was the difficult bit getting to that stage.
The trick was to notice that the post had been edited yesterday. There would be no obvious reason for that post to be edited. The clue was there from about midday yesterday although I realised I had got a letter wrong and edited about 8pm.MSE. Abandon hope all ye who enter here0 -

The SnowMan posting during the seance was actually a mistake. I was trying to answer honestly. I had 2 browser windows opened logged in as Tibbledom and SnowMan. I was trying to thank both ways simultaneously, read and reply and understand the questions and got confused. I accidently replied as SnowMan instead of Tibbledom. Doh!MSE. You must have had quite a bit of this planned, Tibbledom, from the moment that Snowman first emerged from the chaos? It's so so clever....
Think I might agree, Adey, about the business opportunity....
Got to go now.
