    I've just opened a fixed rate ISA with Halifax for 1 year. I need to have the certificate in thier hands in 30 days ....
    I was told by the nice man that I will NOT be able to put 3600 in on 5 April 2009 because it is fixed, which is a bit annoying to say the least.

    Yes I have been advised the same. I'll have to open another one, as my present ISA is fixed until next September.
