I know what you mean, these days I struggle to put on slippers. Even if I did manage to pull the boots on I'm sure the hairs on my legs would get stuck in the zippers. ;):D

Just saw a repeat of Grumpy Old men. Brilliant in places - loved the bit when they were moaning why-oh-why do they have to change the names of places....I mean Peking being renamed Beijing, whats the point - they haven't renamed Peking Duck!

Also that some postmen seem to have reading problems these days as get letters from entirely different streets, spot on - we had that problem for ages!

Thought of ST during the prog for some strange reason ! :D

morning H :rotfl: I can not believe I have that effect that you thought of me  I am not such a grumpy old man yet .... anyway i like Beijing sounds better, like Mumbai and Chennai and of course the one that really annoys me is why the English have to call the German city Cologne when it is Koln and is spelt that way too--mind you the germans call Milano Mailand -awful i think.

what have icesavers invested in since having our money refunded ? I opened a capital one savings a/c at 4.50% but now dropped to 3.5% also moved all my other savings over from B of Scot which has dropped my instant access savings to 1.98% -what do expect scotish and before hbos the Bank of Scotland was a very well managed organisation until merging with those Halifax dimwits.

wifes icesave isa now Newcastle BS .

the way interest rates are miving is very disturbing and who konws when the idiots at BOE reduce them again this week -funny Broon blamed everyman and his dog in his interview this weekend -and at no time did he acknowledge he was chancellor during the last 10 years - only to say " in America , in America global..." the man needs to return to "Northern Britain" and stay there.
