In the car on the way to friends the discussion got onto baldness and my wife's brother who was bald from a youngish age. Mrs H said that his wife had tried all sorts of strange remedies for him and I asked who was most concerned about it, him or his wife? She went on to say something about it often disturbing women too, and then launched her trident towards her folically challenged husband:-
"Well, you know, I didn't MARRY a bald guy"
To which Mr H retorted: "Well I didn't marry a fat woman!"
Think that's what they call stalemate by total annihilation of both sides! :rotfl:0 -
The snacks and drinks afternoon at friends was fun up to a point, but the male host is a guy who is typically 70% talk, 30% listen and the percentages diverge even more as the alcohol accumulates in his blood! (Made my excuses when he started a lecture on the history of Yugoslavia, starting from 1000AD...)0
