I've seen you Chariots of Fire. You all did very well ;);)

That's right, it was great there as we were suitably dressed for a game of cricket straight after the run, much more fun.....

My wife has interjected that the reason she gave up was that she was dying of laughter from my strange "running backwards" action ! :o

This man and woman were making love when she cried out "Oh my God! I hear my husband coming! You must get out of here fast! Grab your clothes and jump out the window!" The man hurriedly jumped out the window and fell into some bushes. As luck would have it, it started to rain. He sat there, wondering what he was going to do when a bunch of joggers happened to jog by. The man quickly jumped up and joined them. As they were running along one jogger asked him "Do you always run in the nude?" The man, puffing, answered, "Oh yes, it feels so free having the air blow over your skin while you are running." Then another asked, "Do you always run carrying your clothes on your arm?" The man answered breathlessly, "Oh yes, that way I can get dressed at the end of the run and get in my car to go home." Then another asked "Do you always wear a condom when you run?" "Only when it's raining." he gasped.

Harrowing and his wife were jogging together. Almost breathless he gasps, "What do you love most about me? My tremendous athletic ability or my superior intellect?" She smiles, "No it's your incredible sense of humour." ;):D

Did try running for a while at Uni.....everyone said your fitness improves week on week but after a couple of months I felt frustrated to have only progressed from completely kn*ckered to kn*ckered post-run!

I bet you forgot to cut the plastics ties that join a pair of new trainers together. Your stride would have been restricted to an ungainly shuffle producing "a strange running backwards action" the appearance of a Geisha girl on "speed" ;);) :rotfl:

oh dear rant rant -sorry but this country jsut gets to me -look at the hospitals new years eve -horrendous what an example to the rest of the world -who really would want to live here --they you go another rant:D

I've just been watching Louis Theroux in Jo'burg (recorded); watched him in Philadelphia last week. Made shocking viewing, I can tell you. Actually makes me feel fantastically relieved that we live in a country like this, even with all its problems. Kind of puts things in perspective.

Happy New Year to you all. Keep up the funny jokes, anecdotes, pictures, smut, rantings. It's all good!
