Sorry to have left my post. OH is erecting the tree, I only get in the way, then there's the tinsel allergy, so to make her feel better and me slightly less guilty I whipped out to the village shop and got three bottles of Stowells Colombard Chardonnay for a tenner. Worth every penny I'd say.

..thats' the trick. Did you know that men are often guilty of "learned incompetence", it's pretending to be so useless at things that the OH has to take over...

It is amazing, in fact quiet annoying, that you spend hours looking around the big supermarkets for Christmas cheapies, especially booze, and then stumbled across unbeatable prices in a corner shop not 200 yards from your front door! :mad:
