  • What was the name of the bean that the wife and daughter-in-law disasterously cooked in the most recent episode? Memory tells me it was South American; it was difficult to pronounce, and; it cost them about £2... more than that I can't remember. Anyone remember?

    Cheers!

As an increasing number of board regulars are discovering - the gambling board is now starting to groan under the weight of new recruits - it's possible to make a great deal of money by exploiting bookmaker bonus offers (no-one ever believes me when I say this, but take my word for it!). I make an amount that is definitely into the second income category - £7000 for each of the last two years at least, all tax free.

Anyway, I'd just love one of these families to pick up on this in year 2 because I'd love to see the look on the presenter's face when they explain they've made a couple of grand from gambling on the internet...

OOOh if that's the one, then it's more of a pulse than a bean. Very small, kind of like a micro bean sprout when cooked. Strange taste, only tried it once, must be some good recipe's out there, but I can't say I've looked. You can get it in Morrisons.

It is indeed a wonderful way of making gauranteed money from free offers.
Lets be clear on the distinction; it's not gambling, but using gambling site free offers and a neat mathematical trick to turn the free bet into real money. Whilst it breaks no rules for the gambling sites, I'm not sure how popular you'd want the idea to be.

Slightly off subject but is that a bottle of Erdinger on the table in your avatar?
