I'm absolutely gobsmacked!

I've just seen a despatch email from DP giving me a tracking number for my gloves - I was convinced I wasn't going to get them as I thought the order had been cancelled plus there was no sign of the order in My Account on the website.

How strange!

I'm not complaining though :j

I know - it's all been a bit of a lucky dip, hasn't it? Still, at the end of the day, it's a lovely, light-hearted surprise for some - even though I do think that a minority of fms are taking it way too seriously!

I got despatch email also and delivery company says "order generated", so keeping my fingers crossed. I so needed a pair of gloves. I to was not holding out much hope for them so thanks OP. I am wondering if it made a difference how payment was made - i paid by paypal, MAYBE and its a big maybe, its harder for them to refund it - in terms of man hours so cheaper just to send the items!

i paid by card and have had the dispatch email, they havent taken the money yet though.

have just had an e-mail saying they have 20% off everything today!

I just had email from them regarding VAT reduction.
The dispatch email says they take the money in 24hrs, but I paid with paypal and the money was taken at the time I placed the order.
Even so, its been a great way for them to collect email addresses ti increase their sales database etc

... I paid with my debit card and have had the email saying my items have been sent so don't think it is the payment method.

anyway, hope you get your gloves

Just read on another website that the offer was limited to regular customers only! Which could explain why some people had their orders cancelled and others didn't.:rolleyes: Well done to those who got it though!:D

My order has been dispached, but the e-mail doesn't mention anything about VAT reduction. But only I've spent £1.80 to get a pair of leather gloves so I am not complaining not getting a few pennies off...

i have received mine ,, and just to say ,, i am not a regular customer ,, to be honest never ordered from them b4 ,, so i feel lucky :P
