D'oh! I was feeling lucky, so decided to have a flutter on Virgin Bingo with some of my free scratch earnings - managed to spend the £3 or so I had in the account, taking my balance to £0 :o

I just hope I win something, or I won't be able to play free bingo anymore!

    Bloody awful.

Had to give my presentation today and it pretty much sucked. 22 mins (I had 45), sweating like a {insert joke of choice here}, felt like a right twit.

Maybe now's the time to tell my boss that I don't like presentations not because I'm not willing to help out, but because I'm a social phobic? I had avoided caffeine for 24 hours before and was painted in super anti-perspirant. Surely if I'm so afraid of group scenarios that I can still sweat through all this it means it's not healthy to encounter them voluntarily? :(

Feel like a failure - how hard can it be to present to six people?

    HI Edinburgher,

Didn't want to read and run.

I hope it wasn't as bad as you thought - it's so hard to do presentations when you are nervous.

I've also done that thing when you spend the free scratchie money on games and all of a sudden it's gone! :o

    Hope tomorrow is better.

    Hope tomorrow is better.

Thanks for that Urg - the day is already looking up :)

Spoke to my boss and she understood - thanked me for at least giving it a try and said that she'd do the rest of the presentations.

I'm going to try and find a course on presentation planning and confidence and will try and upskill over the next year or so, as I feel like I have to learn to walk before I can run?

Glad my boss was cool about it - I've been averaging 1-2 hours sleep a night for the last few days and I'm totally washed out from the stress :o Ah well - giving blood tonight, will get a rest there!

Another couple of quid towards the ISA today - I'm completely skint after my trip to East Kilbride!

Will manage to claim back £59.10 in expenses, but it's a bit of a pain in the bum as I won't get it 'til after payday..

Also managed to claim my last Amazon voucher from Valued Opinions - a handy tenner off the cost of Christmas.

Is it morning already? :D Somewhat tired and have a splitting headache this morning (got a good nights sleep last night after three bad nights and suspect that my body is trying to catch up!)

Suspect I'll need to prop myself up with caffeine 'til tomorrow - can normally make it through Fridays on autopilot as I'm only in the office for six hours or so.

Luckily some transfers into my current account have started to materialise and I'll have enough cash for my work trip to Edinburgh next week without needing to {further} raid my savings. Very much looking forward to payday and being able to pick up all my Christmas pressies! :xmassmile

Transferred a few quid into my ISA - I'll have that months' wage emergency fund saved before I know it :rotfl:
