I am amased First Direct are still offering these cash incentives to join them.
They must have lost I fortune in the last year with everyone opening accounts to recieve the cash incentive.
I made £100 out of First Direct last year, from introducing friends and family, would not mind but I've never had more than a quid in the account, yet they still chucked a load of cash my way. The Mrs also made £100 from them as well.0 -
you want to take a look at the barclays current account !0

I have opened the account with first direct, but can you tell me which one the money needs to go into, as they opened all at the same time:
A Normal Bank Account
Savings Account
E-Savings account,
Advice would be gratful0 -
You need to pay at least £1000 a month into the normal bank account. What you do with the savings account depends on whether you need to access the money or not. If you want regular use of it don't put it in e-savings as you will lose a whole months interest in every month you take some out. There are better instant access accounts than the ordinary savings account, see

This advice is for the Barclays account/deal at the moment. Great advice, but wrong thread. For more info on how to nab £100, see Martin's most recent newsletter, aaai!
For First Direct: You need to put £100 into your frest opened first direct BANK ACCOUNT, and leave it in there for at least 28 days for a £25 treat!
Hope this helps!Need a cartoon? ...PM me!0 -

The Barclay's offer is closed.
I'm not sure about the offer in this flyer that the OP got, but the rules for the online offer for the First Direct BANK account are you have transfer your income for a £50 bonus. I can't find any info that says you have to deposit a certain amount, just to transfer your salary. You have to deposit £1,000/month for the high interest rate, otherwise it's just 0.1%.
First Direct also offer a cheque account, could this be what the OP's offer is for? Or is it an old flyer? It sounds like the offers they were running before Martin schemed them out of lots of money.0 -
isasmurf.. you right it's 2 separate offers.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 092
