    Thanks for that...all very strange.
The whole thanking stuff doesn't seem to bother people on other boards....I was terrible at first....just forgot.
Now I use it as a way of acknowledging I read a post too.....but, sometimes so busy reading, digesting and chuckling, I forget again.

So, if I ever want an alter ego...get another username and argue with myself.......:o

If the ones I think are the same are....they do nice poster/nasty poster.

    All a bit scary.

'ang on a second there Mewbie, I thought YOU had said on an occasion you were also someone else? (Not that I care who, I thought about it for a minut then shrugged and thought you were obviously better as Mewbie than who else you might be ;) ).

I only come on MSE when a story breaks about house prices like todays nationwide figures. I cannot believe the same old people are still going on about the same old things. Still waiting for the massive crash, telling everybody about the size of their deposits, saving thousands each month as house prices lose thousands each month. Come on people, I know it must be murder renting, but live a little.

Your wasting your time mate, spend all those years saving, yet you can't get your 20's back.
    What for a house!!!

For a while, faced with accusations of being someone else I thought I may as well go along with it. Then I tried to subvert it by making various jokes about it. Now on the proud moment of my historic 1,000th post I can probably forget about it.

Some people have multiple log ins to use as thanking buddies, or users to support their arguments, or perhaps more surprisingly to act as agent provocateurs / devils advocate against their own posting.
So, there's really only about 4 of us on here, then?

    That is an over-estimate.
18 May 2007 (start of Mortgage):
    Coventry Offset Mortgage £220800
    Offset Savings: £0
    Mortgage Balance: £220,800

    14 Jan 08
    Coventry Offest Mortgage: 219002
    Offset Savings: 28200
    Mortage Balance: £190802

And still chucking every spare penny into it!

This is a house price board - we talk about house prices.

If you like I could give you the url of a car forum, all they do over there is talk about cars. I'm sure you'd like to have a go at them too for talking about the same old things?

Oh and as for "waiting for the massive crash" ... I believe the phrase I'm looking for (albeit and Americanism) is, HELLLOOOO???!!!
I am not really an Eskimo. I can hear what you're thinking... "Inuit!"
