I popped into our local one today in Walton but to be honest it wasn't really worth the visit. The prices are the same as they always are, things marked up and then going on 'sale' at half price. They had the exact same deals in there a month ago!0

I work for a courier company we deliver Woolworths items, memo sent to all couriers today states "return all items from Woolworths and do not collect any returns from customers".Originally posted by gaultier100

I doubt we are the only company delivering Woolworths goods but we deliver quite a lot.

I'm sympathetic for anyone who losses their job and I do feel bad about all the staff losing their job especially at Christmas and also feel bad about Woolworths shutting down as I have been going in there reguarly my entire life but it doesn't mean I'm going to not buy any bargains if I see them out of respect for the staff just to let other people buy them instead.
