  • I went into our local store this morning and there were no more deals than a normal trading day. A lot of there stuff was overpriced compared to other shops I thought. I went in hoping to get a bargain but no closing down sales as yet!!

I don't think they will start having 'sales' til after Christmas. Please also bear in mind that although we are moneysaving that thousands of people are unsure of whether they will have a job in the new year.

    Very sympathetic. NOT!
Just remember when the vultures are circling for bargains, the staff face a very uncertain future and one day they may be circling you for bargains too.

In my local yesterday, they were sticking half price stickers on stuff, I got some christmas decs, all half price and 3 for 2 and then the 20% disc too. Very pleased! :)
  • Hi,

in ours a lot of the kids clothes were half price.

Almost everything else was 3 for 2.

    The shelves were half empty.

    Cheers,
    Karen
