Hi everyone - thanks for asking!

Been a busy week - lots of deadlines for the end of the month (including my tax - still ) - so am glad it is Friday! But generally things are ticking over well. Withdrew another £10 from the scratch card money yesterday and the expenses cheques finally cleared so have paid off one card. :j Need to update snowball and sig now.
On the down side the bookie I was working on is refusing the freebet as says offer is closed - even though it was on website the day I registered! Am querying it but don't hold out much hope. Any at least the qualifier was for no loss so I can just withdraw my money and try something else. But what a waste of time.

Anyway off to do my updates! Hope things are going well with all of you.

The card news is good ... is the bookie one of those ones where you get lots of reload offers, or is it a complete write off? *Very* good that the qualifier was for no loss, but such a pain, absolutely.

Don't think so - have withdrawn money and will keep the account in case but I suspect a dead loss! Now off to find another. I haven't done inter wetten yet so might try that!

But today it is back to taxes - ugh!

Oh yeah... I've got a final push on my French ones on Monday. Good luck with yours. Note to self: must remember to pay the taxman.

It is at this time of year I realise just how disorganised I am! have spent the afternoon sorting through piles of paperwork in my office aka dumping ground and the place still looks like a bomb site. It needs to be done so I can make sure I have all my receipts/expenses etc. but why oh why can't I file it as it comes in? How hard can it be???!

*Extremely* hard, thats how hard! Its taken me years to be able to file things a little bit properly for my English accounts, but even so, I've currently lost an 08/09 list of bankings. D'oh! And the French - they've been going a much shorter time, and I had to phone the current account people for duplicate statements, god only knows where they are. You have my *every* sympathy....

If I have time this weekend I am also going to clear out my filing cabinet which is bursting at the seams and try to bring some semblance of order to my life. I unearthed my "tickler file" (David Allen - Getting Thngs Done) as well. It is a filing box with a drop file for every month and for every day of the month (43 in total). You put things that are time critical in it at the right place and every day you check your tickler file for that day. Means you don't have to remember things. I did it for a while last year and it was great but like everything else fell by the wayside. Think will resurrect - but I may have to set an alarm each day to check my tickler file!
