I've just found out I'm off to a posh 'do' on friday with OH - 4 course meal & a free overnight stay in a swish hotel!! :j

Good job I'd already bought a new dress for New Years Eve otherwise I'd be panicking big-style!
Got my new leopard print killer heels too so I'm all set!!

RCB - hope you have an amazing time! great that you already have a dress or you are right it would be throwing all your clothes onto the floor in a heap & wringing your hands at having nothing to wear

Splodz - sleep well, I'm at work tomorrow too after nearly 2 weeks leave but I have to go back tomorrow & from what I've heard there is a lot of upheaval still in the office after this second round of redundancies. BF just summed it up with one of his Dutch sayings translated into English - he said that they have all grown longer toes :rotfl: I think it's a brilliant way to describe the way everyone is being hyper sensitive & really touchy over the slightest thing as if their toes are being stepped on!

I've made a decision about the comps... I'll be doing my lush, dailies (35) & a few comps in the morning before work. Then at lunch time I'll log in again to lush & a little look around for any urgent comps, then after work I'll be heading into the advents, I have 4 folders (Advents1 (25), Advents2 (25), Advents answers needed (7) & Advent Radio(23)) so I will have time to spend on those - (probably find Nicky63 in there somewhere tomorrow night & if I do I'll make sure she is hydrated & knows her way out) then it is time to take a look at usual comps! *phew* then probably time for bed & start over again :rotfl:

But at least I'll only do what I enjoy & only what I'd like to win

I wonder where I'll fit in the time to write Christmas cards, do Christmas pressie shopping (which hasn't already been covered with wins ) housework, cooking, all the usual stuff :eek: At least it all calms down to virtually nothing in January! :rotfl:

RCB - All I can say is wow! Have a fab time.

VG - I know exactly what you mean about being touchy with regards to redundancies. We are going through something similar in our company at the moment, not quite the same as we are not having redundancies, but payroll keeps slipping every month. That makes everyone really touchy, not surprisingly. New years resolution, try to find something else.

On another note, I need to venture to the loft to find the christmas tree!!! :rolleyes:

Up to comps ending 5/12 now :T have started on those but should go to bed really, last day at work tomorrow tho and then 4 days off ... going to have a proper catch up then
