Morning all, hope everyone is ok, hugs to those that need them.

Going into town with friends today to have a wander round the shops and we are going for Christmas lunch.

I have 4 lush parcels that seem to be stuck they have only been sent to 2 or 3 people.

Just going to take youngest two to school then will be back this evening.

LO was up during the night so at the moment she's still in bed asleep, not sure what time she'll get up but going to keep checking on her. It's cold here but luckily no more snow, yet, supposed to be loads tomorrow hope not though as supposed to be going out then.

i am shaking here, just turned my back for 1 minute, thought lo was playing in the kitchen as he does but he wasnt, he had managed to open the back door and cause dh had left the gate open in the back garden, lo managed to get out and wandered off down the road.

I swear i never want to feel like i just did, thought he was somewhere in the house, shouting for him, looking outside, nowhere to be seen, a neighbour had seen him going down the road in tears and he was standing next to 2 ladies who were watching him.

really is a rubbish day, thought last night was bad, that was nothing, i am so glad he is home.

I am so angry at dh but more at myself, as he didnt hear him going out the door, cant stop crying now, sorry for this post, i just feel so awful

PP - please don't beat yourself up too mmuch about it - it literally takes seconds for them to be out of your sight.
It's happened to a lot of us I bet (Tom did a disappearing act in Matalan & I have never been so scared in my life). xx

I'm glad your little one is ok - get yourself a hot drink & have cuddles on the sofa with him - it will hopefully make you both feel a bit better. xx
