I understood the OP, even if the spelling was a bit off, and wouldn't describe HSBC as criminals.
The one thing you should be sure of though is alway make sure cash is paid in the day before it is needed, cut off times do get missed, even if you paid in at 1230 you transaction will not be confirmed until end of day. For DD's this does cause problems, as DD's are entered in overnight batches. (Normally between 2200 - 0830) dependant on the banks. In the real world of computers if the funds are not 'cleared' then they could well unpay the DD before the day even starts, causing you all sorts of problems. In the bank I used to work for (a few years ago) it was not unusual for us to miss close of day due to machine breakdowns, so some mixed waste would not be processed until the next day, if we were off line for any period of time, the cash paid in would also fall into the next day. Many customers would never know, but some would find out when DD's were unpaid even though they had paid money in to cover it. On the whole a nightmare of a system! These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!
I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!0
