And at what point did I relate your thickness to your spelling? I said you were being thick for not thinking properly and leaving things until the last minute, not because you had bad spelling.

If you start calling banks criminals you're going to get sarcastic comments back, simple as.

If you want some proper help don't have a thread title such as the one you have got, HSBC being criminals, as it has nothing to do with the problem in hand.

I think you have an attitude problem.

You can not move money you dont have from one account to another, I could only move the money once it had been paid to me, nothing had been left till the last minute. I thought it was all in hand. And again 100 quid to me is criminal. - Making HSBC bank criminalS

Why do people like you feel the need to pick at people, if you dont like the post, the title, the spelling or the poster, ignore it! Why make some one feel small and down, we all have enough problems at the monent with out being called thick by some one they have never met. I am not going to keep talking, as it wont help any one. But maybe if you have nothing nice to say, dont say any thing at all.

This forum is ment to help people!

And are you going to leave moving money until the last minutes again? Doubt it. Therefore it has helped ;)

And anyway you got your money back didn't you?

By the way, I have no problem with helping people out if they keep it unbiast. There was no need to call the bank criminals. All you had to do was explain the situation and ask what you could do, which is what you did, but you then kept saying about HSBC were criminals for it. No they aren't being criminals just because of their system. Thats how it works, how it has for years. And yes I have an attitude towards people who write stupid comments like 'HSBC are criminals' or ' Faster Banking!!..I don't think so !!!', otherwise I'm very pleasant!

As you stated yourself, if you have nothing good to say, don't say it (or however the saying goes!). Calling banks criminals is obviously good... (sarcastic comment), see what I mean?

(also sorry if you took the thick comment about your spelling, I meant its being thick leaving it until the last minute)
  • Lokolo, can I just say, you obviously have some very valid opinions and good advice to give to people which I guess come from experience and knowledge in the banking industry.
    But...
...Do you really have to be so rude to other posters. Im not just talking about your responses on this post, but also on others I have read.
To me (and I am entitled to my opinion) you come across as always looking for an arguement, or an opputunity to be-little those who dont know the banking systems like you do.
People are coming on here for help and advice.
    Quit the attitude.

Indeed and in most of the thread most of the thread posters write some sarcastic comment about a bank or whatever?

And yes you know I try and help others but, as you do, have the right to an opinion, I think its incredibly stupid for people to say things like 'Banks are Criminals' and 'Faster Payment Schemes... I think not'. All they need is a simpe thread title without some sarcastic comment in their post.

I don't see how I was looking for an argument in this thread though? Please read my response (the second post). I thought that was good enough and wasn't rude at all? Then wheelel started having a go at me for pointing out spelling errors I had told him about, what the hells the problem? I don't care if hes dyslexic or whatever, I was trying to help him

Hey steady on, I wasn't 'having a go' as such... I was just asking why people had thanked you for your post. As I was reading it it struck me as coming across as rude, and I couldn't really see anything helpful in it and I was interested to see why people had thanked you for that. And pointing out spelling errors just comes across as pretentious in my opinion. We all know they're there... we see them in pretty much every post, they don't need to be pointed out. It just makes people look so holier-than-thou, which is why I haven't bothered to correct yours.

I'm quite new to these forums and there have been a couple of threads on here where I have been slightly shocked at how you and a few others seem to belittle people on here. It just seems that while the majority of posters on here just want to help people, there are others who get off on picking people's posts apart for the most trivial of reasons eg the title or spelling errors. I just can't really see what there is to be achieved by that. And I STILL don't know why people would thank you for that.

I think they were mainly thanking me for the 'a lesson to be learnt' bit more than anything lol. I wasn't trying to get at his spelling, just its easier to read posts when you can understand (because the 2 was spelt too I didn't understand that bit, so got me quite confused) them first time, I wasn't aiming the spelling response as an insult or anything.

And well yeh I can see you're quite new, not having a go, but there are a lot of people on here who actually just come on here to complain and whind people up (yes, ironic I hear you say) but thats the reason why I am quite stern in some of my posts, especially the ones where theres some sort of sarcastic comment in. I suppose I don't help myself in some of these and I am sorry for that but its that what whinds me up. When you've been here for a year or so you'll see what I mean by annoying posts ;) (you'll be the same as me! maybe a little more relaxed though, blame my mother for that!)

OK fair enough I see your point there. Wouldn't it just be better to ignore these posts where you think the OP doesn't have a fair point though, if not just for the sake of your blood pressure?! :rotfl:

And try to remember that what you might take to be a sarcastic comment may be seen as a deadly serious one by the person who writes it, especially if they really are in need of genuine help/advice.
