I might be misreading it, but where's the latest browsers in that, ie IE7/8/FF3/Chrome/Safari etc?

I'm not up on all the technicalities, but I think they both have Gecko in their parentage.

Don't forget SeaMonkey which is bundled with PuppyLinux, where the complete OS is 100mb.

because people arent aware that they can use another browser apart from IE or they arent aware that they can have more than browser on the computer

1) People only know of IE

2) Bespoke applications at work are built around IE and won't work with anything else

3) On a Vista install running UAC, it's actually very safe.
