Hi
I phoned up tesco last week to complain that i cant book a slot past 16th and got told it is because i dont have a credit card with them[even though i spend about £300 per month]
I did point this out to them and the c/s attitude was and thats your problem.
Again so much for loyality.0 -
Asda is showing all slots available on 22nd for me but no further - does anyone know if they are likely to open slots on the 23rd as well?
Keep the slot you have booked and start creating your shopping list (making sure it's over £25) and go through the checkout as usual. Then tomorrow go back online and change it to 23rd but make sure you go back through the checkout again.
I placed my ASDA order at 6.30am this morning for 22nd but really want it 23rd... I'll be back online tomorrow morning.
Just a thought in case someone is holding out for Christmas Eve deliveries - we don't deliver because of availability. (I'm a Home Shopping driver who will be too tired to go shopping in the crowded shop after work!)DEBT FREE BY 60Starting Debt 21st August 2019 = £11,024

I booked a christmas slot by changing the 2 to a 3 on the URL for the 23rd.After reading about everybodies orders being cancelled I thought that I had better book another slot, which I did for the 20th.Nobody has rung me up to cancel the first slot but I daren't cancel the 20th in case they do.As anyone else kept their order?I booked mine on Friday.if i had known then what i know now0

They're a bunch of !!!!!!s (Tesco) aren't they - a different excuse for everyone who asks why they didn't get the preferred slot! Anyway don't forget you can compare available slots for all the major supermarkets at mysupermarket.co.uk to save you logging into all sorts of sites...
(Edit: I didn't use a naughty word, just one that rhymes with "muggers"!)0 -
i booked with asda for the 20th i dont need it any sooner as i eat at mums, i got mum a tesco slot for the 20th too which will be fine as she goes to butcher and veg is delivered
im so fed up with tesco and they arnt that cheap any more. i had an asda delivery today in protest
i do prefere tesco layout though, you have to trawl through all the multi buys in asda where as tesco list buy one get one free etc0 -
am i being daft? i have only been doing it online for a few months - do I just book a slot and go through checkout and pay for it now? otherwise it only holds it for 2 hours? I assume I then add my stuff to the order nearer the time? help!0

I've booked my Asda slot for the 23rd now. Very happy. I've booked an early slot so hopefully everything I need will be in stock.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0

Now that's the question everyone will be asking! Fruit & veg should be O.K. but don't expect any selection boxes or tins of chocolates! Don't leave the meat for your Christmas dinner to last minute unless it 'normal' meat that you would usually find on the shelves all year round.
p.s.
Sorry again to my customers that I was an hour late to last night! I had 8 customers - all with the time slot 6 - 8pm and I did an 80 mile round trip! Up to 20 minute drives between customers!!!
Not the customers fault because of where they live but not fair on the them either.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
