  • Hey cake fairy, that is a great first post.
I mean business this time, was quite tempted to up my figure to include all CC debt, but can always move the goal posts when I've hit the target! No more negative thinking from me.

Can I join please? Was a quiet member of the last challenge where I've paid £16k off but need to be a more serious member now. Although I owe £40k, I would like to aim for £20k as it is still a target I haven't yet achieved but maybe this time!

  • Ok, i have been following your progress and you have persuaded me!

I am aiming for about £12,000 this SHOULD pay off all the biggy debts and leave me with a little to spare, i am REALLY going to pull my finger out for this challenge, even if it is just small payments here and there, i SO want to be out of debt by this time next year.

    Good luck to all

  • Count me in for £10K please.

Sounds a bit scary but I need some focus (aka a shove) to get moving on it and this might just do it!

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

  • Can I join, please?

Anyone who read the last challenge knows that I am a serial faffer. I can spend hours mulling over spreadsheets and dreaming of debtfree day. Actually doing something about it seems to be a bit more of a sticking point.

But, I am fed up being in debt, and I hereby pledge to stop faffing FOR THE WHOLE YEAR!!!

Thanks for the new challenge, hypno, and can you put me down for £15000 (this is a bit unrealistic but daydreaming is a hard habit to break, and you never know, I might do it :) ).

    Good luck everyone.

  • Hi Hypno,
Would love to join this fantastic group please. Already sort of started it at the start of this month to get me motivated.......will adjust sig at the start of december so i don't look like i am cheating!!
have got extra income coming in from January which should add up to an extra £8000 towards debt payments next year at least and on top of normal payments.
Can't wait till the day comes when I can spend the money on stuff we all want!! Never mind, it will come. And it does feel good paying it off thankfully!
