I have a £44 giftcard from game, I traded some unused nintendo ds and wii games with them, and I found £15 m&s vouchers at home, so I have added these to my total.
  • well done folks

have read your entries and despite the upheaval and challenges we are all getting there bit by bit. recieved my payslip today and have done some over time so am really pleased that my payments are chipping away at my credit card balance. I recently done the £2 credit checks and was really pleased with the series of 000000000s. I have a bit of dilema though I have about £5000 in credit card with really bad APR's from 29%- 39% I know am getting rid of it. my mum is holding my cards to keep me from temptation and this has been really good for me. I am thinking of doing a balance transfer or should I just carry on with the payments i have been making. don't knnow what to do. so am continuing with my £1500 payments including my mortgage and other debts. so in essence had hit the £7500 mark so pats on back to me. have been keeping in with the food shopping budget but have been a bit naughty with the socialising budget but recently broke up with my boyfriend so my budget will ease up a bit. just wanted to touch base and pass on the congratulations

Haven't been around much but just had a quick read through and wanted to say well done everyone so far, although I've not been here I have been keeping track and am pleased that we've now crossed the half way mark! This was supposed to be the hardest bit of the year cos I was on maternity leave so my pay was reduced so am delighted we seem to be on target for paying off £10k by xmas. I've even got over my ebay fear and have listed quite a few things there recently so am getting some extra pennies in and will be back at work in July, so along with the £10k we're hoping to be able to get our new kitchen at last before the end of the year too :-)

SO IF I INCLUDE THE PYMTS DUE OUT AT THE END OF MAY SO FAR WE HAVE PAID OFF £5311.92 YAY!!!
    Total Debt (27th Nov 08) £16,707.03 Now £5,102.72

    Well done sarah!

No more payments for me today - have my final one to come out on 29th, so will update then. Am also hoping to make a £400 overpayment at end of month but will have to wait and see...
