Well done lemma.....the government are the Worlds worst at kicking you when you are down but you have made fantastic inroads into clearing those yuckky bills!!!!
Most of my debt is business related..luckily none to the government...just some unfortunate happenings here and there.
    Have a good day.

Thanks URG123...well done on the total so far.
  • Just made payment of £61.07 needed to round up my total payments for this year, need to submit my invoice so hopefully will be paid next week and then can make another payment. Just had my quote for new windows the cost is included in this challenge, so feels manageable.
    Mortgage £25,789.17/£24,918.14/£22,921.47
    Pay off £20k by Xmas 2010 - £16,360.00
  • Hi peeps, not been on for AGES..... well since my last card payment actually. 3 cards have gone (BT's so not gone gone, but you know what I mean) so I find I visit less, but £50.15 off NatWest cc today. It's always a little boost to see my siggie change, makes me realise that even though I'm not making world shattering payments, I am chipping away at it. Thanks to Hypno for this challenge, up until now I felt I was getting nowhere fast,

    Love Suzi xxx

slowly slowly chatchy monkey! Not a good month this end...just been spending too much here and there (things like lunch at work etc) so time to claw back...again. Wonder if I'll ever learn lol!! Still managed to pay over the mins but its going to be a very tight month. A tad depressing that I've just been paid and its all gone!! Never mind...onwards and upwards!

Had a brilliant talk with the DH lsat night. He is finally edging towards his very own LBM, I think he's really nearly there. we agreed a plan of action, when I showed him how much more we had to pay, how little we'd been living on considering we are both in full tim work, and got him really enthused about paying off debt by xmas. he has agreed to try with me to reduce overdraft by £100 each month, and has agreed that his wages from secondary job go straight into a savings account to be use to pay off CCs each month. Hurrah! Paid a minumum to Cap1 tonight to celebrate! Sig updated.

Well done everyone. Have just had an amazing week away on hols so chipping away has not happened for a bit as paying for that pretty much as the bills come in (a first I can tell you!). Am keen to get back into the groove of chipping away some more though so will be haunting these forums again. £200 off on 16th off a card so will update my sig now.

PS really pleased when OHs get to or near a LBM..think doing this by yourself is pretty lonely. I kind of am...my OH is not as committed but much less snooty than he was so all good progress.
