Just withdrawn £10.10 from my free daily scratchcard. Not going to put this towards anything as *ahem* I have accidently gone into my overdraft (too much haste earlier this month!) and this is higher APR than my cards!Paying down the mortgage:
At 1 October 2011: £226,000
Currently: £224,499
Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
Paid £1,500
Target remaining: 88.89%0 -
morning, my regular loan payment of £421.85 came out today, so my total paid is looking a bit healthier!
my DH had a letter from one of his creditors this week - basically a 'make us an offer' letter on his outstanding balance of £469. DH is going to speak to paypal today to see what they have to say. but we do have £300 (which is pencilled in to clear CC1). does anybody have any experience of negotiating F&F settlements? should be offer half or start lower? any advice appreciated.Jan GC £0/£2000 -

Afternoon all. Looks like I am not going to make it under £30k this month - we have MOT due in early March and I want to keep back as much money as possible in case we have a big bill. Keep up the good work all.
Theskintfamily - good luck with your settlement! Unfortunately I can't offer any advice thoughPaying down the mortgage:

Hi, can I joint his challenge too or is it too late into the year? I could really use the support from the group on clearing debt, as when I add it all up it really does scare me!0
