  • Sold a Wii game to Cex today (£6) (as in my what dfw thing have you done today post). When the money comes through I will put this in my ISA. On my sig it doesn't look like I have paid or saved much, but I am saving as much in my ISA as poss till the 0% is about to run out on my card (April), except for my monthly payment, so my money can work for me a bit. When I have paid it to my card I will update it.
  • had a nice letter in the post today from MBNA, they are refunding me £180 charges and will take the amount straight off my balance. Im not sure whether to push them and try and get the full amount back (£300 & interest). suppose it's worth another letter to them.. what have I got to lose? anyways, i have updated my signature and am counting down the days til pay day so I can pay some more off.. god, I sound sad!

Payday today and I've paid off £354 - very slow progress compared to some of you but my debt is finally under £9000 which feels like such a big milestone! Bit more to come off by direct debit at end of the month as well. Yay! :)
Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012.

  • Got paid for Mystery Shopping today, got it alot quicker than I thought I would :j

So paying £10 into my ISA - £7.32 from Mystery Shopping (I put the tax and student loan in other accounts so I don't spend it and have to find it when I do my tax return), £2.56 from petrol money I have saved and 12p to round it up to £10 :D

    Hiya guys,

I'm not up to date with the thread, but I'll have a catch up later.

Just posting to say that Hubby has been made redundant and we're not sure yet how that will affect the plan. We are due to make the regular payment on the mystery loan a few days, and beyond that we just don't know yet.

    Love Jacks xxx :D

Had to pay £731 off to my inlaws for a loan. 3 months gone, another 3 to go then completely paid them back.

Makes my running total: £5381 so far.

    Going to slow down though!!!

  • Just had an email saying £35 is going to be refunded on my card tonight for some clothes I bought online that I sent back :j so will update my sig when it appears on my statement. I haven't saved/made as much as other people so far and I could be trying harder and doing more, but I actually feel that I am not doing too bad :j

Lemma, how have you paid/saved so much?
