Hi, I have paid £35.47 to my cc today, this card is now cleared, just have the one card left and I actually overpaid on my barclaycard leaving me in credit. Planning to cancel all my cards now just leaving the MBNA and my buisness cc which is paid off every month.
Also have saved £36.00 in £2.00 coins so far and by next week would have cleared my overdraft.Mortgage £25,789.17/£24,918.14/£22,921.47
Pay off £20k by Xmas 2010 - £16,360.000 -
Well done Earthstrong!
I wish I had more to update, but apart from fiddling around with 0% BT, nothing to report. Should be able to get rid of MBNA card and clear most of Egg card in next few days, but new cards to contend with (although calculated that I will be saving around £2,000 interest a year by moving balances)Paying down the mortgage:
At 1 October 2011: £226,000
Currently: £224,499
Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
Paid £1,500
Target remaining: 88.89%0 -
I think it may be quiet as this is one of the hardest times of the year.
I cannot wait until Friday when I can pay some more off and update, Hoping to pay around £1150 off this monthDEBT FREE - FEB 2010  (LBM £24,000)

Both Cap 1 statements in today - £140.22 paid in capital. Have also done some serious BT'ing as LTSB offered both me & OH 6 months 0% then revert back to std rates. These are not great, by the way, but have managed to clear 2 cards with this which were already at stupid % so have gained 6 months small breathing space..... baby steps, baby steps (I must be the oldest baby in town!)
Off to update siggy,
Love Suzi xx0 -
hehe!! suzi did you have horrendous bt rates too!! Just back from babysitting where got 16 and owed another 140...now have the dilemma do I put into cc or save for the work that I have to do on the house - tiling downstairs and sommat to roof...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Haven't posted for a while as I'm not doing too well with the overpaying - I am overpaying the minimums on my CCs, but I'm not overpaying my "minimum".
Anyway, just paid my usual monthly £290 and updated my siggy. Its very slow. Looking at the other posts you guys are doing so well.:j
Anything extra earned on my Ebay challenge is going towards an overpayment.
I will get there in the end.:TDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Paid off £104.75 to egg
Lots of bits and pieces to barclaycard (race against time as my 0% is up in March)
Getting there slowly! Almost broken my first £1,000.0 -
