George is right - you've made huge progress and what's more some of that is about forming new habits that will keep you in control of your life.
They say that 'nothing succeeds like success', and haven't your successes already built on each other? So even if something 'bad' happened, over which you had no control (and there's no particular reason it should, and even if it did, it wouldn't be caused by your successes), you now have skills and character strengths which would help you turn a situation to your advantage.
Are you worried about how you would cope with success? Because you seem to be doing okay with it so far. You're turning financial problems round while gaining financial know-how, and tackling your weight is making you aware of how you can eat better - all real strengths which you've got through having had problems earlier.
So it seems to me you are someone who can take a problem and get stronger through it. So keep on keeping on - end of pep talkMiggy

I sat watching it thinking when her record comes out (and it will) that I'll get it, I have complete collections by the Clash and Metallica. I have every Queen album and a framed picture of Bob Marley on the wall in the hall alongside Mick Jagger and Jonny Rotten, why does Susan Boyle move me so much. Am I going soft? And poor Natalie Okri, I was welling up. This has to stop so I am off to dig out some Megadeth and pretend that I have tattoo's.
though Stavros Flatley had me crying with laughter.
Glad to see you are back in a better frame of mind Jim - you're doing great.
What's your pretend tattoo of?0 -
I quite fancy both arms covered from the wrist to the shoulder, I believe they are called "sleeves"- maybe the look of Motley Crue's Tommy Lee , obviously I would never do it, but I admire those that do. (My grandma would have a fit, I know this as my sister had a secret tattoo when she was 15 and for a laugh I dobbed her in one day). Anyone else have any fantasy tattoos?0

I would like a swallow either on my shoulder blade or ankle.

I've been thinking about getting one on the inside of my heel for years - probably just a little flower. Never have though - don't think it'd suit me, but haven't decided definitely not yet.
Are you an annoying little brother or an older brother Jim? Dobbing sister in for a laugh, my guess is little bro.0 -
I could handle this look- for the obvious reasons, although I don't think Rod Stewart would be to impressed !0

Think you'll have to look carefully for a tattoo place that gives a free gorgeous blonde with every tatt - sure they'd do a roaring trade though :rotfl:0

Younger sister, we don't get on. She had just confessed to getting into some trouble which, mmmm, how can I put this..... resulted in not being able to drive a car for lets say...exactly 12 months. My Grandmother was in the room cursing the saints and I thought now would be a good time to kick her whilst she's down ( not cruel, she would do exactly the same to me if given the chance), so I am sitting in the corner keeping out the way whilst my Mum was explaining to her Mum that she doesn't know where she went wrong bringing her up and I pipe up "You think thats bad, she's got a tattoo." My finest hour.0 -
