We did think that but weren't too sure.

    On another note.

Partner is 33 weeks pregnant now, been into labour twice already! and her amniotic fluid is now well over 320!

When she reaches 35 weeks we'll be seeing her consultant again for a c-section date.

He is weighing 5lb 13oz already with 7 weeks to go!

    I am confused????

How do you know how much he weighs if he is not born yet?

Have I missed a new advance in modern science???

P.s. Good luck with your new arrival! It really is the most amazing buzz ever! My daughter is now 7 months and I am still amazed at how I feel about the moment she was born!!

Because she has excess water, we get more detailed scans.

Going from certain body dimensions, they can "roughly" work out babies weight.

The consultant said he'll be on the large side when he's born, will wait and see. hoping for a 37 week c-section.
  • Hi

    good luck with the baby.

I'm on a dmp with CCCS and pay £250 pm and I don't recall them telling me it was a low start one.

Just one thing that springs to mind, when you do overtime it's best not to pay the creditors more some months and less other months - this opens a can of worms as I discovered before I got in touch with CCCS. The creditors seemed to think I was hiding something and expected the extra dosh every month and it got a bit nasty.

I would suggest you save the extra money until you have enough to make some full and final settlement offers and for those all important immergencies.

And I've started shopping in Lidl and saved a lot on my weekly shop. If you have one near you, it's worth a visit.

    Good luck with everything.

    Thanks.

The dmp pack has come, just waiting for latest statements and my latest payslip then i can get it sent off. It did feel good cutting up all my CC's very stimulating!

Does it take a while before full & final offers can be had?

Right back home now, but earlier than expected.

And whats in the post today?

The first nasty letter!!! Basically my bank saying ive not paid my loan and if i don't pay they'll take further action and it could affect my bank account.

So rang them and explained i was in talks with cccs for a dmp, seemed ok, will have to wait and see how they go.

I will be closing my account later today with them as iv got another account already set up, with no links to my creditors.
  • Looks like things are going well mbs1 - good work. Keep posting as it'll help you to stay motivated.

If you are putting your overtime money to one side in preparation for a full and final settlement, don't be tempted to keep dipping into it for treats etc otherwise it will soon disappear. Maybe your partner and you can agree to have one or two small treats each month, but only if you have done some overtime.

Good luck with the new arrival...

    Thanks.

Nipped into town this afternoon, Old HSBC bank acc now closed. Aswell as my HSBC Bills acc.

I paid a cheque in for £20 for DD off Great Grandma!

We did spend £2.91 in Wilkos on a couple of Doorstops that were needed tho!

Ive also got a lockable money safe, that surplus cash goes into, including the money needed for yearly things like, car tax, MOT etc.

We are on the lookout for a double pushchair for when DS arrives. The cheaper the better!

Have a nice Sat night all

Hope to be in bed by 10 as im working OT again tomorrow,

    5am start Yikes!!!!!!!!!
