How good is that getting your dress off freecycle

Oooh lucky you! I really wanted the mount, but our budget dropped considerably after finding out last November we're expecting baby number 4! I was really shocked that i was offered a dress on freecycle lol, I picked it up last May when it fit me great, but is currently being altered from a zipped back to lacing to accomodate my new shape lol. Have you got a dress yet? x

I'm getting more and more scared now, even though i 'think' i've sorted everything i keep worrying incase theres something i've forgotten lol.
If google doesn't know it, how should i?

I also just said in another thread there is a seller on ebay (100% feedback) that sells 200 dragees for £2 in various colours plus p+p which may be worth looking into!

I've got little lilac organza bags, 50 of them contain mini chocolate dragees hearts in lilac and ivory, then i've 100 bags containing mini rolls of swizzels love hearts :p

I know it's not much but they look very pretty and a nice gesture to my guests :D Ebay is sooo fab for wedding stuff!:j

I always think tealights are nice. You can get huge bags of the candles for a few pounds, some cheap glass holders (IKEA?) and decorate them?

Oh, just thought of another idea. I'm doing a ceramics class this year and have made loads of pots etc...(that we don't really want.) Am thinking of getting some white flowers and some silver chocolate balls too. If I have a vase, I could put some white flowers in, and if it's a little tray, some chocolates, then cellophane and a ribbon etc. Thought I could do one thing per family....was also going to do some cones of sweets for the kids too..

I went to a wedding a few years back, and the couple had mini rolling pins on the table, sprayed sliver with the couples initials and date on. It was 1 per couple, they had made a slit down the middle to hold the name cards but on the reverse they had a recipe for love poem. They were really nice and different to the usual sugar almonds.

I have a lot of cellophane cones left over from christmas, so i'm going to fill these with sweets for the children. For the adults, i am going to try and source empty miniature bottle and fill them with assorted spirits then do a label, but its coming in quite pricey.

I like the idea of a fridge magnet as you can buy the blanks quite cheaply, its coming up with a design or possible a poem.

Someone mentioned an age ago on here about making their own fudge.

Im currently loving this idea as OH adores fudge.

Maybe 3 squares wrapped in some cellophane (I have lots from nappy cakes) and with some pretty ribbon?

I got a one of these as a present from a kid at the end of the year once - whoever had made it had obviously taken the Ikea 4 for a £1 tea light holders, just made a zig-zag pattern with the outline glass paint, and filled it in in a colour - it looked really effective and I've still got it around somewhere in the house.

    brilliant!
Yeah you can get like 50 organza bags on ebay for like 4 quid or something ridiculously cheap like that. I am aiming for £10 for 70 favours for the sit down meal. Which is achievable!
