evertonfan (says it all?)
1) Nowhere does the original poster say you can buy it on line, he just says "The CO-OP are selling this..." Why would you assume it could be bought online?
2) Martin adds to the post that it cannot be bought on-line just to clarify
3) Martin, whose site this is, did not post the original message. He is not resonsible for all posts in the chat forums.
4) This site is for your benefit and costs you nothing. Free. If you don't like it and can do nothing but complain, don't use it.0 -
rappius - there's a 'convenience store' co-op at the bottom end of Woodhouse Road, Friern Barnet (near the old Town Hall) but I don't know if they stock non-foods as I don't shop there.0

Tried branches in Cheshrie, W/Yorks,Scotland and all regions still have it at £49.99.
So, other than Couper Angus, is there anywhere else this item is priced at £24.99?
It it a Co Op glitch in their computers or a branch specific offer perhaps?

This truly is a great price. Unfortunately as its not available on-line there is only one way to get it - in a Co-Op store. Unless you're a regular Co-Op shopper or there's one round the corner, the best thing to do is go to www.co-op.co.uk use the store locator, call up and check availability and price in your local store (it can sometimes vary).
This is worth doing though as it's a top bargain. Standard DAB players have come down in price and there are others available for around £30, but this MoS player is normally priced from £55 to £80.
Obviously whether you can get it cheaper from the Co-op or not depends on whether your regional Co-op has them. From the Great DAB Radio hunt the cheapest online dab machines are the Matsui DABR101 for £43 including delivery from Currys or a Goodmans GSR85DAB for £49 from Tesco also with delivery included.
If you know of any cheaper please post below.0 -

Not so, there are dozens of different Co-ops, as the name implies, big and small, all with different policies, and different products. Called Co-operative because they joined together to buy items they want to sell cheaper, hence they seem the same, but are not. The largest of which is the Manchester based CWS.
Some deep editing Martin, eh? :snow_grinac's lovechild0 -

I wasn't as lucky as you shropslad, everywhere that I called insist they are £49.99. Nobody would be swayed by mentioning MSE and the national helpline said this info is an error. So well done to all of you that did manage to get one at that price.0

I have just spoken to the Co-Op Care Line and they have confirmed that the price was quoted wrong on MoneySaving Expert.com it should be £49.99 and in Yorkshire they are being sold at United Co-Operative in Bradford, Harrogate, Keighley etc.0

The co-op in oxfordshire is not selling them :mad:0

Hi
I enquired at the co-op about this offer and received this response:
Any radios that are being sold at less than £49.99 in a store owned by the Co-operative Group is unauthorised and are being sold at an incorrect price by the staff concerned.
The price applicable for this product in Co-operative Group stores is
£49.99 and is not affected by the decision by the Scottish Midland Co-operative Society to sell the item for less than this price on 'special offer' in their stores.
